Creattura Wins INSEAD Business Sustainability Award for Innovation in Climate Technology

San Francisco, California – February 8, 2025 – Creattura, a Tokyo-based climate-tech startup specializing in carbon finance and greenhouse gas (GHG) monitoring for sustainable rice farming, has been recognized with the 2024 INSEAD Business Sustainability Award. The prestigious award, presented at the INSEAD Americas Conference [https://www.insead.edu/san-francisco-hub/events/americas-conference-2025] in San Francisco (Feb. 6-9), honors companies making significant contributions to environmental sustainability.

Creattura’s proprietary technology leverages a patented combination of satellite data, AI, and IoT to track and verify emissions reductions in rice farming, a major source of methane emissions.
"This recognition highlights the power of satellite data and AI in the fight against climate change," said Zachary Brown, CTO of Creattura, who accepted the award on behalf of the company and CEO Tomomichi Hattori.
