We assess the potential for new credit generation approaches and provide support from initial concept through to methodology formulation.
New decarbonization measures and business models that fall outside the scope of existing methodologies may require the development of an entirely new methodology. Methodology development demands systematic examination of a wide range of issues — defining the target activity, determining the approach to reductions and removals, setting baselines, establishing additionality, and designing monitoring methods.
